Relief.
Recovery.
Reset.
Whether you’re seeking pain relief, recovery from injury, stress reduction, improved mobility, or simply time to reconnect with yourself — we build customized sessions designed around your individual needs.
You don't have to be in crisis to deserve care.
Whether you’re managing chronic pain, pushing athletic limits, running on empty, or preparing to welcome new life — we meet you exactly where you are right now.
Chronic Pain
Persistent tension, old injuries, and daily aches that just won’t quit. We work with your body’s patterns — not against them.
Athletes
Train harder, recover smarter. Targeted bodywork improves performance, prevents injury, and shortens the time between your best efforts.
Stress & Burnout
When your mind won’t slow down and your body carries all the weight. Regular massage recalibrates your stress response from the inside out.
Prenatal Support
Safe, nurturing care through every trimester. Certified prenatal massage that eases discomfort and supports your changing body.
Therapeutic work, tailored to you.
Every session is personalized. Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll build the right approach — pressure, technique, and focus — for exactly what your body needs today.
Deep Tissue
Focused work on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Effective for chronic pain, postural issues, and the stubborn knots that lighter work simply won’t reach.
Barefoot Myofascial
Slow, even pressure applied with the feet to release fascia across large muscle groups. Surprisingly soothing, deeply effective — ideal for full-body tension and tight backs.
Cupping
Gentle suction lifts the tissue to increase circulation, ease tension, and encourage the body’s natural recovery. Often layered into a hands-on session for stubborn areas.
Reiki
Light-touch energy work that calms the nervous system and restores a sense of balance. A still, restorative complement to hands-on bodywork — or a session all its own.
Prenatal Massage
Safe, certified care for expecting mothers. Relieves lower-back pain, reduces swelling, improves sleep, and offers the quiet, nurturing rest that pregnancy so rarely allows.

Two licensed massage therapists, each with their own focus and years of hands-on experience — united by a commitment to doing this work, and doing it well.
Jen Wood
I am a licensed massage therapist with nearly 20 years of experience helping people find relief from pain, reconnect with their bodies, and create more ease in their everyday lives. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people through every season of life—from athletes and teenagers to chronic pain, injury recovery, autoimmune illness, stress, burnout, and the physical and emotional challenges that come with aging and hormonal transitions.
My path has been shaped by both professional experience and personal curiosity. Early in my career, I taught anatomy and kinesiology at a massage therapy school and completed nearly all of the coursework toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While my path ultimately led me back to bodywork, that foundation continues to inform the way I think about the body as an interconnected system.
Over the years, I’ve continued to study and explore a wide range of approaches, including Reiki, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic techniques, Thai techniques, reflexology, cupping, mind-body medicine, nervous system regulation, and the growing body of research connecting chronic pain, chronic illness, stress, trauma, and emotional well-being. I believe learning is a lifelong practice, and I continue to deepen my understanding through continuing education, research, and the people who trust me with their care.
Above all, I believe touch is sacred.
It is never something I take for granted that someone chooses to place their trust in my hands. Every session is an opportunity to meet another person with presence, respect, and compassion. My goal is not only to help reduce pain or tension, but to create a space where your body can soften, your nervous system can settle, and you can reconnect with yourself.
Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic discomfort, recovering from injury, navigating a stressful season, or simply in need of deep rest, I strive to meet you exactly where you are and tailor each session to your unique needs.
Erica Rivera
I’ve always believed that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and cared for.
For more than 20 years as a licensed massage therapist, I’ve had the privilege of helping people through many different seasons of life—from recovering after injuries and managing chronic pain to reducing stress, improving mobility, and simply finding a moment to breathe in a busy world. Every person who walks through my door brings a different story, and I believe every massage should honor that story.
There isn’t a routine or “standard” session in my practice. I take the time to listen, understand what your body is telling us, and tailor every treatment to your individual needs and goals. Some clients need focused therapeutic work to address long-standing pain patterns, while others simply need a quiet space where their nervous system can finally relax. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are.
I’m passionate about continuing to grow as a therapist and believe there’s always something new to learn. Over the years, I’ve pursued advanced training in Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage, Sarga Bodywork, Reiki, reflexology, cupping, stretching techniques, and other therapeutic approaches that allow me to combine effective treatment with deep relaxation. I enjoy blending techniques to create sessions that are both intentional and intuitive.
Outside the treatment room, you’ll often find me hiking Connecticut’s trails, spending time in nature, or volunteering through platelet donation. Those experiences continue to reinforce what I see every day in my work—that our physical, mental, and emotional well-being are deeply connected, and that taking care of ourselves allows us to show up more fully for the people we love.
To me, massage is never “just a massage.” It’s an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body, and give yourself permission to heal. Whether you’re seeking pain relief, recovering from an injury, training for your next adventure, or simply in need of rest, I’m honored each time someone places their trust in my hands. I look forward to being part of your wellness journey.
What people say after they leave.
I came in barely able to turn my neck after months at a desk. Two sessions later I had range of motion I’d forgotten was possible. They actually listen — every visit is built around what my body needs that day.
As a runner, the deep-tissue work has kept me training through a season I thought I’d have to cut short. I leave every appointment looser, lighter, and recovering faster than I used to.
I started prenatal massage in my second trimester and it changed everything — my sleep, my back, my whole sense of calm. Gentle, knowledgeable, and so reassuring at every step.

Your body has been asking for this. Listen to it.
New clients welcome. Same-week appointments are often available — reach out to whichever therapist feels right for you.
Things people ask before booking.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit begins with a brief intake conversation — we’ll ask about any areas of concern, your health history, and what you’re hoping to get from the session. From there you’ll have complete privacy to undress to your comfort level and settle onto the table. Your therapist checks in throughout and adjusts pressure based on your feedback. Afterward, we’ll share any observations and suggest follow-up if it’s helpful.
How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your goals. For stress maintenance and general wellness, once a month is a meaningful rhythm. For chronic pain, postural issues, or athletic recovery, bi-weekly sessions tend to produce faster, longer-lasting results. We’ll give you an honest recommendation based on what we observe — not what sells the most sessions.
Is massage safe during pregnancy?
Yes — when performed by a certified prenatal massage therapist. Erica is trained in the positioning, pressure, and areas to be mindful of during each trimester. We generally recommend waiting until the second trimester unless you’ve been cleared by your provider, and we ask prenatal clients to share any relevant notes from their OB or midwife beforehand.
What's your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee. Life happens — if something comes up, just reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
